NEW Wet N Wild Heart Shaped 2017 Spring Collecton! SWATCHES

Hello All! So I was so excited to see a full set up of this new Spring 2017 Wet N Wild (heart shaped) collection at my local cvs ahhhhhhhhh!! It's just way too cute to pass up so I insisted Bruce let me purchase more than 2 things haha. So I have a video reviewing everything I bought and doing live swatches/ trying them on my face! Hope you enjoy the video and the pictures!!

MY VIDEO--------

PICTURESSSS ------

Of course I couldn't resist this Perfect Pout lip palette!

In my video you'll see I had a hard time digging into them because they look so perfect in their palette! Comes with a cute little brush too!

I got two cheek and lip tints, a spring pink and a coral-orange!

Here are some swatches from the palette! All these shades are a bit sheer and give a wash of color not a deep pigment. If you wanna see live swatches, watch my vid!

I got the palette (below) called "Will You Marina Me" and it is goooorgeous! The last color has hints of yellow and looks really pretty on the eye. I also love how the shadows have words carved into them!

Below, are the two Mega Glo cheek and lip tints that I purchased. The left is a pink "Kiss Me If You Can" and the right is an more coral-orange color "Crush Upon A Time" but appears more pink on the skin than orange. For each shade I swiped it (on the left) and rubbed it in (on the right) since you would be rubbing it in if you use it on your cheeks.

Below is the Mega Glo heart highlighting powder that I've been dying over since I got it! I got it in the shade "The Sweetest Bling". Love the highlight shade! See it on my skin in my yt video!!

My Perfume Collection

I've never been too big on perfumes nor have I ever had any luck trying to describe their scents'. My latest attempt was by creating a thermometer-like scale to visualize the scents. The top being sharp, fruity, tangy etc and the bottom being woody, nut, flowery smells. I favor the top and don't quite prefer the bottom. I ranked the following from bottom to top (my least favorite to favorite).

Couture by Juicy Couture

How they describe it:
mandarin ,natural orange flower scent blossoms, pink grape accords, star jasmine, honeysuckle, blushed plum, warm amber, vanilla  creamy sandalwood

How I describe it:
an older scent, not what I picture a high schooler wearing, but not strictly for older ladies either. Smells like something someone would wear to the Oscars, possibly prom. Reminds me of a 'dress up' scent. Not very fruity at all or at least not tangy fruits.

John Paul Gaultier Classique

How they describe it: Orange Flower, Bulgarian Rose, Italian Mandarin, Star Aniseed, Orchid, Iris, Ylang-Ylang, Indian Ginger, Soft Vanilla, Woody Amber. (from Sephora's listing)

How I describe it: I would describe it as a rich women who wears Burberry scent (lol i have weird descriptions) but I picture a rich young woman, mid 20’s, wearing this while shopping on rodeo drive. I think this is very business appropriate if you work in an office.

G by Guess

How they describe it: tangerine, bergamot, green apple, freesia, peony, muguet, peach, red fruit, magnolia flowers, cedarwood, moss, skin musk, amber (phew with a list like that I don't feel so bad that I couldn't figure it out :/)

How I describe it: Reminds me of apple scent but a little bit of roses mixed in? This is definitely a high school appropriate scent but doesn’t smell too young either. (not like cotton candy or anything) A sharper scent, which is what I like about it, but wasn’t ‘candy scented' enough for my liking. Guess I like the really young scents huh? (Just caught the pun, I did not intend for that :p)

Wild One Victoria's Secret Spray

How they describe it: midnight raspberry, sexy lily

How I describe it: As I smell it out of the package (so more concentrated than it would smell on me) it smells a bit like Robitussin. A better smelling Robitussin but still medicinal. Even saying that though I do like how it smells on me. It smells less like cough medication and more sweet and fruity. Definitely a high school appropriate scent and definitely smells like it came from Victoria's Secret, whether that be a good thing or bad thing depends on you.

Pink Ice

How they describe it: "timeless sophistication, sparkling whimsy and a cozy finish." (from their website,... wow thanks for that description -_-)

How I describe it: Smells like a type of candy. I’m not sure which but I guess thats a good thing since you don’t want to be a walking pixie stick. It's pretty sweet smelling which I love and not nutty at all. Very appropriate for younger women. My second favorite and I wear almost everyday! (The days when I’m not wearing the next one)

ETC Perfume

How they describe it: glittering fruits, soft florals, sweet tarts.

How I describe it: Saving the best for last! ETC is the BEST smelling scent I have or have ever found! It is so candy smelling it makes my mouth water. It reminds me of an apple and strawberry lollipop (if they would ever make such a thing). I wear this one the most and have gotten only nice comments on it. My boyfriend absolutely loves this! (I find most men gravitate more towards the higher part of my ‘scent thermometer’).

While I'm writing this article I found another word to better describe the top of my 'scent thermometer' and that is Tart! (yay for new descriptive words!)

So that is my entire (yes entire) perfume collection except for those mini viles of perfume you get as samples, I have like a hundred of those!

My Everyday Makeup Brushes

I don’t have a ton of brushes, for some reason I haven’t yet went on a spree with those yet. (But when I do I’ll be sure to share!) These brushes have been the same ones I've used for a pretty long time.
(The titles are links to where you can purchase them if you wanted to.)

E.l.f. Essential Blushing, Bronzing, and Blending Brush

I use this brush to apply my shimmer blush. I don't use it as blush though just as a cheek highlight since it is so shimmery. I had bought this brush originally to apply bronzer but it made horrible lines! This brush is quite scratchy but that's a good thing for what I use it for. I like that the brush is abrasive because it picks up a lot of shimmer pigment yet is still a wide enough brush that it doesn't make one tiny straight line of shimmer on my cheek. Since it's a tiny part of my face that I use this brush on, the scratchiness of the brush doesn't bother me that much.

E.l.f. Mineral All Over Eyeshadow Brush

This brush I bought at Marshall's, which is probably why I can hardly find it anywhere online anymore. It's such a soft brush and perfect for contouring my nose! I use it with 'Buck' from the Naked Palette on the sides of my nose to make it look slimmer. When you're contouring, the most important part is blending since you don't want to make it look obvious and noticeable, and this brush blends amazingly!

EcoTools Angled Eyeliner Brush

I've used this the longest out of all the brushes I have. What I like about this one, over other angled eyeliner brushes, is that this one is very precise and dense. I don't like soft eyeliner brushes because it defeats the purpose of creating a 'line' since the soft bristles will spread under pressure. This one makes a very thin line and the angle isn't too much that you'd have to hold your hand weird to use it.

E.l.f. Essential Defining Eye Brush

I use this brush with the same shimmer I use on my cheeks, but instead I use it down the center of my nose. It creates the illusion of a slimmer nose and is decently soft for an E.L.F. essential brush. It's also soft enough that it doesn't make a harsh line of shimmer.

Flat Top Blending Brush (sold out but a similar one is in this set.)

Last year after Christmas was over I bought a brush set for half off at Walmart. Turns out this set was insanely soft and I fell in love with its blending brush. I'd never had a flat top brush before so I was pretty excited to get this one for so cheap. I use this one for my blush and bronzer because its flat and doesn't create lines. Because its so soft I never have to worry that it'll make my contouring or blush look too obvious or streaky.

E.l.f. Essential Blending Eye Brush
This is my favorite of all the E.l.f. essential brush line. I think this is pretty soft and does a very nice job of blending.

E.l.f. Essential Eye Crease Brush
This brush is nice because its very small and dense. I use this to create a very dark line on my crease. It isn't the softest brush but its not rough either. For $1 I think it does a great job. (The low price shows however in the glue. The metal piece separated from the handle quite some time ago but I kept it since I liked the brush part.)

E.l.f. Studio Complexion Brush
I use this brush as a powder brush with my Neutrogena Shine Control Powder. It is very soft and its perfect for covering a large area of your face at a time like you need when you powder your face.

Milani "Mascara Wand"
I use this one simply because I bought the eyebrow pencil attached to it. The eyebrow pencil color was waaaay off but I kept it because I thought the other end was useful and also looked pretty. I use this to separate my eyelashes if they get clumpy.

Myglam Angled Eyeliner Brush & Myglam Eyeshadow Brush

As far as I know you cannot buy these anymore. I know at one time they sold them but since then they changed their company's name (now Ipsy) and I can't find the listings on their new website.

I use the eyeliner brush on my eyebrows with eyebrow powder. It's not dense and it's pretty small so I use it to create feathery lines on my brows so they don't look harsh or filled in. The eyeshadow brush is also verrrrry tiny so I use it under my lower lash line to create a shadow with Buck. The brushes aren't bad, not insanely soft or harsh, but I probably wouldn't buy them (they just happened to be in my Myglam bag).

I Can't Wax

Soo, long story short I decided I would try waxing myself instead of shaving. I decided this because when you shave your arm pits it shows up dark because the roots are still in place. Since it's summer I didn't want them dark. I had an old kit from probably about 7 months ago that I never used. And let me clear this up, I am NOT saying this is a bad product. A product is only as successful as it's user, which I was not lol. First off I lost the plastic applicator that you apply the wax with (the one it came with originally) so I had to use this other weird looking applicator that came with a dissolving hair remover.  (please excuse the wax still on the end)

So right off the bat I should have known this was going to be bad.

I used Nair Microwave Wax, which is a tub of wax, you microwave for a few seconds and its ready to apply.

Weeeeeelll that part went fine except, think of it like syrup, when you try to apply it (moving the applicator from the tub of wax to wherever your waxing), it drips! I am inexperienced and I'm sure there's a way to prevent this but I didn't know how. (Did I mention I was dumb enough to do this in my carpeted room?) So it dripped on my leg, then on the carpet. How do you get warm wax off the carpet!! lol  Then when I needed to put my applicator down (to put the cloth strip you rip off on) it fell off of where I had safely put it and fell onto my makeup table so now that has wax on it. Funny thing about hair-removing wax, it doesn't dry. Ever lol! It is still sticky, everywhere! It took me a while to get it off my leg but I did find an oil based makeup remover worked best. Soap and water just seemed to spread it? When I first started, to see where to wax, I brought over my full length mirror (a cheap one so its easily movable) and you guessed it... got wax on it. lol

So my room and I are still fully recovering from the Wax Fiasco of 2012. Good news is that it definitely did get the job done, without leaving dark roots or any marks. Classic me, who does something with no research or thought, didn't realize after waxing that the area hurts a bit. So the immediate mall trip afterwards (planned ahead of time) kinda sucked lol but after a few hours I was fine. Really scared to try it again, I think I'm just gunna use the pre-waxed strips. I never messed them up! lol

In case your wondering about whats inside the kit:

Wax tub which i made a complete mess off, and the cloth strips which I also got wax on. What didn't I get wax on lol

My Everyday Makeup Tutorial

My new video of my everyday makeup routine! I taped a few videos in a day and this is the one I started out with. Since I'm a bit strapped for time lately I figured this would be a good one to start off with, since I could wake up and film this AND get my makeup for the day done at the same time! I did literally climb out of bed and sit down in front of the camera so that's why I seem like I have the flu in the beginning lol. (I am not a morning person at all.)

I hope you all enjoy this video and I had a lot of fun filming it! Except the eyeliner lol thats the worst part of my routine. I did recently get a new drugstore gel eyeliner that I can't wait to do a review on! It's the BOMB! I figured I'd include the list of products I used in this post again (at the bottom). I'm not sure if they're in order but they are there! Any questions feel free to comment or reply :)

Me in the morning w/ no makeup (taken with photobooth so that's why its all shadowy looking, and in my head makes me look better than a digital camera pic :p )
